I’d planned on wearing these when backround noise got to be too much, but I can’t hear when wearing them, even to have a conversation with someone in the same room… I now wear them when I get a migraine or when the neighbors are too loud for me to sleep – they are very comfortable!

I’ve been a club DJ for a long time and these are the best budget ear plugs! When I first started, one thing I promised myself was to take care of my hearing. I’ve gone through so many different types of plugs over the years. EarPeace eventually being my favorite because they were cheap, they worked, and I was constantly loosing them – so cheap to replace. The loops are less cheap, but still more affordable than UltimeEars. The ability to change DB reduction is a game changer. My only complaint, is that I wish the max setting cut maybe 5 more dB than it does. I think max cut is 18dB. I wish it was more around 25dB. I brought these to EDC 2025 and circuit grounds was so loud, I could feel the fatigue with only an 18dB cut. Overall though, best plugs I’ve used yet.

This work very well.
Would recommend the attachable loop links. I have lost so many ear buds while removing my helmet. Awesome when put together. So well, I purchased another set to go in each jacket.

I was skeptical when I first purchased these ear plugs, but they actually work amazingly well. I attend a lot of concerts, and these allow for amazing sound quality, while filtering out the extreme sound. They are durable and comfortable to wear for an extended period of time. Highly recommend these if you attend a lot of concerts or loud events.

AuDHD here. I’m so impressed by these. I didn’t expect to be. I mean an earbud and a plastic loop. After being referred to Loops twice, I gave in. I have sensory processing issues from a ruptured pair of eardrums. Certain frequencies hurt. Too much treble or bass and I’m screeching. I tried medium size ends first and went to small. The loops fit comfortably into my ears and I got clear to hide them. They’re virtually invisible. Totally reusable. I fell asleep with them on and they didn’t hurt. They weigh nothing and are easy to use. Simply put the silicone bud in then turn the loop to the back and lightly press in til they don’t stick out. Now, the BEST part. The nasty cluttery, painful, distracting background noises in the world are GONE!!! I feel less panicky, less on edge, and my brain is slowly adjusting to the new lower sound decibels. Meaning: I can officially think better. Even if right now it’s like 1-5 minutes of pure focus it 100% more than I had before. Thanks Loops and thanks Amazon for the price! I’m never going back to clutter brain again.

If you want the model with the lowest sound reduction, these are the ones from this line up. They worked great for the Disturbed concert! I wouldn’t go up in the reduction rating unless you have particularly sensitive ears. I have sensitive ears but this was enough protection for sure. In fact I might have used the smaller inserts to hear even more, had I brought them. But the regular fitting inserts did the job well, for what they’re able to do.
Unfortunately the sound quality does drop somewhat because after all, we are blocking it somewhat. I considered electronic buds that drop the sound when the decibels hit a certain level but if they work like the over-the-ear phones I’ve used they will drop dangerous sound levels to a point where you barely hear it. So the sound might be jumping from clear to super low for safety, but not great for music.
So I went with the Loop brand for the numbers mainly. Other brands don’t seem to offer a model with this low of a rating, which equals more sound.
The clear units are almost invisible if you want to be discreet and not look like “the old guy with ear plugs” 🙂
I purchased two pairs and found what some other reviewers did, that some cases don’t snap shut super tight. Be careful since these are expensive to be blunt. But a small price compared to hearing damage discomfort that can last from hours to days, or worse

I started off with an earlier pair of Loop Engage (Equinox color), because this color (Dusk) was sold out then. This is the pair I really wanted, though. Both have worked extremely well for me, blocking just enough noise to help keep my sensory overload anxiety down while letting enough sound in that I can understand most of the time when someone talks to me.
Let me tell you why I love these gorgeous little gray earplugs:
With the extra small tips (they come with 4 sizes of tips, total), they fit my small ears without causing pain.
They’re affordable (especially on Prime Days), and even at full price, they’re worth every penny.
They stay in place all day, even with my extremely oily skin.
They’re easy to clean; all I use is a terry microfiber cleaning cloth, and 70% Isoproply Alcohol (I know the instructions say not to use that, but mine are no worse for it.) I spray a little alcohol on the cloth and wipe them clean.
The case can fit almost anywhere, so they’re easy to keep in my pocket at all times for sudden noisy situations. It even has a silicone loop you can hang it up by or put it on your keychain, though it might not last long that way.
They help me sleep better, especially since I live on a busy street that has traffic at all hours of the day.
They make music, audiobooks, and phone conversations sound so much clearer, louder, and fuller when used with bone conduction headphones.
And lastly, but not least – they help me stay sane in today’s VERY noisy world.
I was think they’re 100% worth the hype.

These work very well at reducing to volume of talking and/or noise in the room. I’m a preschool teacher and sometimes it can get overwhelming with all the noise and I love having these on those days. I can still hear the kids, just at a more tolerable volume.

I get overstimulated by the chaos of my family. These earplugs are advertised for helping deal with the volume of “parenting.” It definitely takes the edge off of things, but muffles the sound a bit more than I expected. I had hoped to hear conversations a bit more clearly than I do with these. One plus is that the sound of my own voice isn’t so loud in my head with these compared to others I’ve owned. If conversation was a bit clearer they’d get 5 stars.
